Summer is here, school is out, and with that the opportunities to gather your family and get away together become more abundant. Summertime and summer vacations are periods where the most vivid and cherished memories are made.

Bringing families up to their tent or wagon is always a blast. When we unzip the door to their new glamping home their faces light up and you can feel the excitement. Each unit has comfy beds and ample room for a Pack ‘n Play if you have a little one who isn’t quite ready for a bed.
As far as onsite activities go, there are plenty of options to keep everyone entertained at the Ranch. We have an activity field, volleyball court, roping range and lawn games to keep everyone out and about enjoying the weather. We also have a game tent with ping pong and arcade games. These activities are all within a short walk from your tent. Parents can choose to run around with their kids or even take a break and keep an eye on them from their tent or the Campfire Grill Restaurant.
Have a picky eater with you? Two things will work in your favor regarding that. One, after a day of fun your kiddo usually will work up quite an appetite. Two, the Campfire Grill Restaurant offers a fantastic kids menu. Dinner offering include Texas Toast Grilled Cheese, Lil’ Burger, and Campanelle Pasta all served with a side of french fries or fruit. For breakfast, the pancakes are guaranteed to put a smile on their faces.
Bear Lake is teeming with perfect family friendly activities. If your family wants to frolic in the outdoors, you can take a short hike along Limber Pine Trail and learn about the local wildlife and environment. You can also spend the day on the lake, which has great beaches with wonderful sandcastle real estate. Looking for something fun and educational? Bear Lake has that too! You can learn about the pioneers Oregon Trail Center or dig for fossils at Fish Dig Quarry.
